Loosely based on the events of summer 1995, this short film attempts to re-capture the magic of falling in love amidst a swirling sea of punk rock chaos. It was the summer I met and fell in love with my wife. It's a wonderful and scary feeling that requires a great deal of trust. It's a feeling I don't ever want to forget or lose touch with.
The film was made over the course of several days of filming in a friend's apartment, with all volunteer crew and cast. It was uncanny how a friend of my same age had a son who looked (and in some ways acted) much like myself 20 years ago, and so I cast him and his girlfriend as the leads.
The years and years of being a patron of the art of rock and roll not only makes for some great friendships, but also came in handy when gaining permission for the music that was so graciously granted.
